As per the Timings and Details of Kolkata Metro Rail 2015-16, here is a brief note on the timings and routes of Kolkata metro rail.
There are currently 9 routes operational on Metro rail network and their time table is as follows:
1. Dum Dum – Kavi Subhash Line
Available every 5 minutes of interval on office hours and 30 minutes from 10: 30 to 4 pm.
Again available within 5 minutes during evening wee hours
2. Dum Dum – Baranagar Line
Available every 20 minutes in morning and evening wee hours, 35 minutes during other hours of the day
3. Baranagar – Barrackpur Line
Available 15 minutes in morning and evening rush hours and 30 minutes during other hours of the day
4. Noapara – Barasat Line
Available every 13 minutes of interval during rush hours and 35 minutes interval during other times of the day.
5. Howrah MDN – Saltlake EW Line
Available every 10 minutes during morning and every 13 minutes during evening wee hours and 25 minutes during other times of the day.
6. Joka – BBD Bagh Line
Available every 15 minutes during morning and evening hours and 33 minutes during other times of the day.
7. Baranagar – Dakshineshwar Line
Available every 10 minutes in morning and 12 minutes in evening time. Available every 28 minutes during other times of the day.
8. Kavi Subhash – Dum Dum via Rajerhat
Available every 8 minutes in morning and 10 minutes during evening wee hours. Other times, available every 25 minutes.
