Durga Puja special trains from Chennai to Thiruvananthapuram

Southern Railway will operate four special trains between Chennai and Kochuveli ( Thiruvananthapuram) to clear extra rush of passengers during the puja festival. 

No. 06338 Kochuveli – Chennai Central special train will leave Kochuveli at 4.05pm on September 30 and reach Chennai Central at 9.40am the next day. 

No.06337 Chennai Central – Kochuveli Superfast special will leave Chennai Central at 7pm on October 1 and reach Kochuveli at 11am the next day. 

The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 sleeper class, 4 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The train will stop at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi and Arakkonam. No 06338 will stop at Perambur also. 

No 06340 Kochuveli – Chennai Central special train will leave Kochuveli at 5pm on October 5 and reach Chennai Central at 9.40am the next day. 

06339 Chennai Central – Kochuveli special will leave Chennai Central at 12.15pm on October 6 and reach Kochuveli at 5pm the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 sleeper class, 4 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The train will stop at Kollam, Kayamkulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi and Arakkonam. Train No.06340 will stop at Perambur also. 

Advance reservations for the above trains will commence on September 16.
