To meet heavy rush of passengers, the Railways would run a pair of superfast special trains between Visakhapatnam-Krishnarajapuram. The trains would make a total of seven trips and halt at Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole, Gudur, Renugunta, Katpadi and Jolarpettai between Visakhapatnam and Krishnarajapuram in both directions.
The Visakhapatnam-Krishnarajapuram Bi-weekly Super-fast special train (no.02877) will leave Visakhapatnam on Saturdays and Wednesdays at 7 pm from June 6 to 27 and will reach Krishnarajapuram the next day at 2 pm. In return direction, the Krishnarajapuram-Visakhapatnam Bi-weekly superfast express train (no.02878) will leave Krishnarajapuram on Sundays and Thursdays at 4.30 pm from June 7 to 28 which will reach Visakhapatnam the next day at 11.30 am. Similarly, a pair of special superfast express trains will be operated between Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad. The Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam special super-fast express train (no.02728) will make a single trip and leave Hyderabad on June 5 at 9 pm and will reach Visakhapatnam the next day at 11.30 am. While returning, the Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad special super-fast express train (no.02727) will leave Visakhapatnam on June 6 at 7 pm and reaches Secunderabad the next day at 9.15 am. These pair of trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalle, Samalkota, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Guntur, Sattenapalli, Pidugurala, Nadikude, Miryalaguda, Nalgonda and Secunderabad.
